Women In Joy

Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit.

 

Joy is not just an emotional thing-- it's an attribute that follows women of God during times of both suffering and excitement.

 

The delight (or joy) that God's Word encourages us to have is fueled by a deep knowing of who God is.

We know that each day isn't perfect. Jesus even tells us that we will have suffering in this life.

Joy is not absent from us in seasons that feel tough.

​

Relying on God for joy, comfort, unfathomable peace,

and contentment

can sound impossible at times.

However, the infallible truth is

that through Jesus we have

access to all of this!

God created both men and women in His image with different roles and special touches.

 

Women in Joy is a community geared toward women. The way we experience life, live for God, and most effectively serve the community around us will sometimes have slight differences from men.

God values us and wants us, as His daughters, to know Him and be competent in His Word for ourselves!

Women in Joy is plural! It is important that as we learn and grow...

we GO and TEACH someone else!

 

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

God has given each of us the purpose to know Him and tell others about Him.

Theology is “the study of the nature of God”. Every Christian woman should consider themselves as a person that engages in theology because it’s impossible to have love and follow a God that we do not know. The Bible is one of God’s gifts to us that shows who He is and how He loves our World!

A theologian is “a person who engages or is an expert in theology”. I know that long term that is what God wants us all to be! Engaging in God’s Word (the Bible) and communicating with God through prayer is how we will become the strong women of God that we’re intended to be!
